What to Expect

Before the service

You will be welcomed at the door by friends who are always happy to help point people in the right direction. We meet upstairs in our sanctuary, and as our worship team is practicing you may find some people praying with one another. Others may be catching up on what God has been doing in their lives through the week, and yet some quietly meditating upon Scripture to prepare their hearts for worship. We encourage our people to be friendly and get to know one another, so don't be shy. You could fill out a CONNECT CARD so we can get to know you a little better.

During the service

Our worship services usually last about 1.5 hours. Services may vary but contain a mixture of singing, prayer, Bible reading, a Bible teaching (sermon) which lasts about 30-45 minutes, and a time for financial giving. Children and young teens are dismissed before the sermon.

We partake in the Lord's Supper (Communion) twice per month. This is open to all who know and are in right fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Every 4-6 weeks, we have a 1 hour 'All Ages Service' which teaches the Word of God on a level that all can relate to.

After the service

After the AM service, people are available to offer prayer with any whom God is challenging or who need spiritual help. Additionally we have a time of fellowship and tea/coffee in the downstairs hall for all. We hope you will join us.

Dress, Music Style, & Other Preferences

We are a diverse church with a mixture of ages, musical preferences, backgrounds, and expressions in worship. Some will be dressed in suits and ties, others in jeans and a t-shirt. Some songs we sing are from the 1300's led by organ, others from 2013 led by guitar or band. During the service, some will sing loud with hands raised, and others will bow, praying and weeping to God. Many will quietly and meditatively think about what they are hearing or singing and respond inwardly. God is concerned more with the truth of what we are singing and our hearts response rather than our external appearance, feelings, or musical preferences.
